Bursary Application

Thank you for expressing your interest in applying for a bursary at the Hand in Hand Festival. Our bursaries are being designed to assist those facing financial constraints that are different to the criteria for concessionary tickets1.

Bursaries may cover either the full performer registration fee or provide a reduction in the fee, based on individual circumstances.

We understand that each performer’s financial situation is unique. Please tell us about your circumstances by completing the short form below. This information will help us to ensure that financial support is directed where it is needed most.

Please be aware that we are currently fundraising, seeking sponsorship and asking other performers to ‘Pay It Forward’ so that we can provide a level of support to those facing financial constraints. At this time, we cannot commit to the number or type of bursaries that may be available. When we understand more about the interest in bursaries, we will liaise with funders, sponsors and others to fund bursary places at the festival.

Your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and all information provided will be kept strictly confidential. Your bursary application will be carefully reviewed by a small team and we will be in touch as soon as possible. It may be that we will seek other information from bursary applicants – we will try to do so in a timely and proportionate manner so that the result of applications is not delayed. If, for any reason, your application is declined (for example, because fundraising attempts were not successful), we will honour the relevant fee at the time of your application. So, if you applied during the Early Bird Registration period, that fee will apply.

In the meantime, please continue to look forward to the incredible experience that awaits you at Hand in Hand Festival.
