Exciting News: Registration Opens on 1st October 2023 for All!
The Hand in Hand Festival is an amazing celebration of music, community, and togetherness. Even though the festival is in August 2024, the journey begins well before that. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a rising talent, this guide will help you with the registration process, making sure you have all the info you need.
With 40 choirs already signed up, it’s now your turn as a cherished choir member (whom we fondly call “performers”) to complete your registration and tell us which choir you’re part of. We use “performers” to include every valued choir member, emphasising your important role in making our festival harmonious.
Step 1: Mark Your Calendar
Registration Opens: 1 October 2023
Before we dive into the nitty-gritty details, make sure to mark your calendar for the big day. Registration for all officially opens on 1 October 2023. This is your chance to secure your spot at the festival, so be ready!
Step 2: Explore Our FAQs
Have questions about the registration process, fees, or bursaries? We’ve got answers! Be sure to explore our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section on our website. It’s a treasure trove of information designed to make your registration process as smooth as your vocal harmonies.
If you can’t find the information you’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you. Your question might not be unique, and by reaching out, you can help us create a new FAQ to assist others with the same queries.
Step 3: Registration Options
- Concession tickets are available to younger people aged 25 or under, or people in receipt of any of the following: Care allowance | Council tax benefit | Disability living/working allowance | Employment support allowance | Housing benefit | Income support | Jobseeker’s allowance/Universal credit | Incapacity benefit | Personal Independence Payment | War disablement pension | Working tax credit ↩︎
Flexible Payment Options
We understand that everyone’s financial situation is different. That’s why we offer flexible payment options. You can choose to pay the full registration fee immediately or spread it out over three or five monthly payments, with a small additional fee of £1 per payment.
Bursaries
At the Hand in Hand Festival, we believe in inclusivity. If you’re facing financial constraints, you can apply for a bursary. Our bursaries can cover the full registration fee or provide a reduced-price ticket, depending on your circumstances. To apply for a bursary, simply indicate your choice on the online registration form when registering. While we would love to accommodate all bursary applications, please understand that we have limited bursary spots available.
Step 4: Fill Out the Registration Form
When you’re ready to register (after 1 October), head to our website and fill out the performer registration form.
Step 5: Keep an Eye on Your Inbox
After registering, keep a close eye on your inbox. You can expect to receive a confirmation email with essential details regarding your registration and, if applicable, any bursary applications.
Please Note: If you don’t see our email in your inbox, don’t forget to check your spam or junk folder, just in case it accidentally landed there. We wouldn’t want you to miss any crucial updates!
Step 6: Get Ready to Shine
With your registration done, it’s time to get ready for your choir’s time in the spotlight. The Hand in Hand Festival is all about music, community, and togetherness, and we’re excited to have you on board.
